May 2008 Completion of Fire Test Centre

CAMM Architects have completed a technically complex fire testing building at Pampisford for Dixon International Group Ltd manufacturers of the Sealmaster range of buildingcomponents. The building contains a large and small test furnace, together with preparation areas, and control rooms, viewing areas and staff facilities. The main contractor was Cockedge Builders of Mildenhall.

April 2008 New Performing Arts Centre in Harlow now on site

Site work has now started on the new purpose built Performing Arts Hall for St Nicholas School Harlow.  This building includes a large hall with retractable seating for performance and teaching use, and generous foyer areas with external terraces for school or external function/social use. The main contractor is Ashe Construction of Letchworth and the project is due for completion in November 2008.

October 2007 CAMM Architects working on Newham Olympic Project

CAMM Architects will providing architectural services to Hutton Construction on the Newham Indoor Athletic Centre with a project value of £4.5m. This high specification project adjacent to the existing leisure centre provides indoor training areas for all types of athletics, and for the 2012 Olympics.

Work on this project has now started on site.

September 2007 CAMM Architects working with ZED Homes on low energy housing

CAMM Architects have been appointed as Architects and Project Managers for the conversion of former office building in Uxbridge into 32 apartments and medical/business spaces with a value of £2.5m. ZED Homes are a leading developer of low energy housing, and the scheme will incorporate the latest construction techniques and services technologies to minimise energy consumption and water use.
